So so sorry for having not updating in about two centuries. I can honestly say that this school work has been kicking my butt and I’m very proud of myself for staying on top of things. Also, for everyone asking me things about spring break and wanting to hangout, I am so sorry for not repsonding because I simply don’t go on myspace anymore…text me instead. Chinese & Photography & Dance classes are doing pretty good, but my teeth hurt because I was at the dentist for 2/3 hours yesterday…so painful! :( Anyways, if you did want to hangout but I never got back to you, mention me on twitter/formspring/text me cause I do want to see all of you guys. On a happy note, today is Lady Gaga’s B-day? And I miss the birthday present I had made for one of my friends, but smart of me, i took pictures!!!
The first day of the new year of 2010 consisted of watching 500 Days of Sumer, and remembering all the negative and positive things of 2009. Unfortunately I found that there were more negatives than positives, but let’s just hope that the new year brings something spectacular for all of us. (Including a simple boy who shares my interests and would love to cuddle; wouldn’t that be grand?) But, I am about to go to the store and I would love to hear some advice on type of teas to drink because I am trying to become more healthy. Respond if you like(:
Recently my classes have been even more demanding than ever and it’s very hard for me to keep the high expectations I set for myself. I’ve been staying up ‘til at least 12 or 1 AM every night, excluding weekends, and either I’m being paranoid, or my hair is begininng to fall out. I haven’t decided whether I want to go to Harvard, Yale, or Dartmouth, but wherever I do attend, all this stress better be worth it…
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him. A wise man, recognizing that the world is but an illusion, does not act as if it is real, so he escapes the suffering.”
Unfortunately I cannot say that I am a devoted buddhist and hopefully I will be able to change that by 2012, as it is on my 101 things to do in 1001 days list, I strive to live my life in the perspective of a buddhist. The theory of happiness is so intricate and yet so simple; the word fascination cannot even begin to describe how I feel about the way of life, and for some, a religion.
One of the teachers that I very much respect has made their own website dedicated to environmentalists and people who are interested in learning about the environment as well. You must make an account but in the end, it’s all worth it. Click the heading above to view the website. Check it out!

It just dawned on me that I have a secret passion for bonsai trees. One day as I was walking around our local flea market, I noticed that a stand was dedicated to information and purchasing bonsai trees. This weekend I plan on going to the flea market and purchasing one. A lot of effort is put in, hoping to perfect the art in the Chinese culture and I plan to do the same. It shall be my way of expieriencing culture…through nature.

KISS…a rule that personally I value a great deal when it comes to black&white photography; “Keep It Super Simple”. The photography club at the school I’m attending recently announced that our community outreach project; displaying photographs, preferbly nature inspired ones, to a nursing home. I’ve taken and chosen this photo in particular, I’m in love with the simplicity as a whole.
P.S. I’ve just joined Flickr and if you have any advice or comments for me, feel to free to e-mail. jasmine.neal@hotmail.com
